Hailing from the vibrant DIY scene of Wrexham, noise poppers Baby Brave are the latest addition to Mai 68 Records roster and Sun 13 have the exclusive premiere of Bombatomic, the lead single from their new EP Sunny Days In Dark Rooms.
First establishing themselves in 2014 with a string of tracks that drew upon the spirit of early PJ Harvey and the incendiary sound of Nineties Pacific Northwest, Baby Brave have been busy expanding their sphere of influences and absorbing life in the new normal to create their new EP, Sunny Days In Dark Rooms.

This is tempered with lyrical tales of heartbreak and the prevailing notion that change is one of the few constants in life, whilst still grabbing you by the hand and leading you towards the dance floor. A chance to thrive and not just survive.
Lead track Bombatomic takes inspiration in equal measures from both Chic and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It is a perfect blast of sun kissed new wave euphoria to brighten even the most slate grey of Autumnal afternoons. You can find the exclusive video premiere right here courtesy of Sun 13.
The EP is available via Mai 68 Records from this Friday, along with a launch party at Telford’s Warehouse canal side Chester.
