Liverpool-based duo, Samantha Shields and Daniel Ryan combine as Visions Of Albion.
Having appeared at sold out shows at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Music Rooms along with receiving airplay on BBC radio, Visions Of Albion deliver You’re Not Alone – the first taste from the band’s debut EP which is mooted for released early next year.
Ahead of its releases, talking of the You’re Not Alone, both Sheilds and Ryan said:
“As much as we’d all love to be in a relationship that is nothing but happiness and joy, sadly, that is not always the case. There are plenty of times in a relationship that are hard… this song is about those times. But it’s also about not losing hope and knowing that someone is going to be there to hold your hand and get you through the tough times. It’s the person you trust to see through all the bullshit and know what’s important.”

Visions Of Albion - You're Not Alone
Drawing from the sunny melodies of Stevie Nicks and the subtle twang-laden Americana of early Wilco, with You’re Not Alone, Visions Of Albion find themselves in the hybrid of folk and intelligent pop.
You’re Not Alone is a breezy affair that doesn’t force you in to tapping the feet and will no doubt whet the appetite for fans of folk, country, and twee-pop.
Strangely enough, if Clint Eastwood‘s Fist Full of Dollars were to be re-imagined in 2020 then Visions of Albion‘s You’re Not Alone might be an unlikely companion to it.
You’re Not Alone is out now.
