Chat Pile & Hayden Pedigo announce new album

The artists share the lead track from their forthcoming LP, ‘In the Earth Again’.

Following last year’s genre-defining Cool World, Oklahoma City noise-rock assault unit, Chat Pile, return in 2025, this time alongside Texas / Oklahoma’s experimental guitarist and composer, Hayden Pedigo, who announce the release of their collaboration LP, In the Earth Again, set for release on October 31 via Computer Students™

Earlier today, the band released the album’s lead track, Radioactive Dreams, which you can listen to below with the accompanying video, which was directed by Riley Stearns.

Inspired by the Albert Pyun cult film of the same name, Radioactive Dreams is Chat Pile at their most minimal and melodic, and as Pedigo’s meandering, countrified guitar echoes give the song added emotional depth, it sees both artists exploring new corners to wonderful effect.

In addition to CD, cassette and digital versions, In the Earth Again will be released in multiple formats, featuring a cover art by Malcolm Byers, including standard gatefold format with 180g vinyl and coloured variants in black, silver and gold; deluxe version with black vinyl featuring a massive double-sided poster and presented in Computer Students™ now iconic sealed aluminum sleeve with black print; limited edition, packaged in a matt aluminum sleeve, with oxblood print and oxblood vinyl will only be available through the label’s website.
