Cairo oddessy The Dwarfs of East Agouza announce details of their much anticipated new album and first for Constellation Records.
Sasquatch Landslide will be released on October 3 via the legendary Canadian label, and today the band share the lead track, Neptune Anteater, which you can listen to below.
The trio, consisting of Maurice Louca (Lehkfa), Alan Bishop (Sun City Girls, Sublime Frequencies), Sam Shalabi (LandOfKush) has a slew of releases under their belt, including the acclaimed 2016 debut Bes (Nawa), Rats Don’t Eat Synthesizers (Annihaya), The Green Dogs of Dahshur (Akuphone), two live albums, Both Sides of the Curtain (Unrock) and High Tide in the Lowlands (Sub Rosa), and mostly recently the live recording, Tropic of Tarus (Old Heaven Books).
Recorded by Emanuele Baratto (Elder, Father Murphy) and mixed by Jace Lasek (The Besnard Lakes), Sasquatch Landslide continues the band’s quest to cover every inch of the earth through mind-bending exploration. Led by Neptune Anteater, the trio maintain their signature trance-inducing energy, anchored by Louca’s hypnotic beats and electronics, with Shalabi and Bishop deploying guitar and alto saxophone in a variety of signal-mashing modes.
