Grails announce new album

The post-rock veterans return following the release of 2023’s ‘Anches En Maat’.

Experimental rock odyssey, Grails, return in 2025 with their follow-up to 2023’s genre-bending release, Anches En Maat, which featured in Sun 13’s Top 50 albums of the year

Miracle Music is set for release on May 16 via Temporary Residence, and today the band share lead track, Silver Bells, which you can listen to below.

Once again, Miracle Music features the same line-up as Anches En Maat, spearheaded by Grails co-founders Emil Amos (Holy SonsLilacs & Champagne, Om) and Alex Hall (Lilacs & Champagne), alongside AE Paterra (ZombiMajeure), Jesse Bates and Ilyas Ahmed.

Corridors of Power: 20 Years with Grails

Produced by AmosMiracle Music reunites the group with recording engineer, Jason Powers, and his Type Foundry studio in Portland, Oregon, where the earliest Grails records were made more than two decades age. Miracle Music also features horn arrangements by Kelly Pratt (David ByrneM. Ward), and, as always sees Grails entering new frontiers.
