Thurston Moore announces physical release of ‘Screen Time’

The instrumental record will see a physical release at the end of February.

Follow its digital release last February, Thurston Moore announces details of a physical release for his latest album, Screen Time.

Recorded in the summer of 2020 during lockdown and released last year as part of Bandcamp Friday, Screen Time is a series of instrumental guitar pieces that fit somewhere between Sonic Youth‘s early work and the band’s more experimental recordings during the SYR series.

Per the press release, Screen Time is said to be a “reflection to dream time, a state of meditation, hypnagogia and pillow talk”.

Screen Time will be released on February 25 via Southern Lord.
