The Showhawk Duo take their Acoustic Rave on tour

Taking in 26 different dates, The Showhawk Duo will be on the road throughout September and October.

The Showhawk Duo seem destined to become viral sensations.

Their interpretations of dance classics played on nothing but acoustic guitars have been shared countless times. So much so that you have probably seen them without knowing who they are.  The genre ‘acoustic rave’ was surely made for them.

Made up of Mikhail Asanovic (a classical guitarist) and Jake Wright (described as ‘an electric junkie’), the duo grew up playing in rock and metal bands before joining forces as The Showhawk Duo. Starting out as buskers, they soon came to wider attention, appearing on Radio 1 and playing Bestival, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness, Somersault, Lost Village, Boomtown and more.

They have headlined tours since 2015, sold out shows at The Edinburgh Fringe and were even invited to play Pacha in Ibiza.

Not bad for an unassuming couple of lads who you could pass on the street almost without noticing.

Now, the duo are embarking on a busy tour of the UK and Ireland. Taking in 26 different dates, The Showhawk Duo will be on the road throughout September and October.
