Matt Christensen announces new album – listen to lead single

Constant Green arrives in June – listen to single, ‘It’s Hard Not To Love Everyone’, here.

In a year that has seen Matt Christensen release a swathe of fine independent solo releases, the Zelienople singer returns to Miasmah Recordings for his next solo endeavour, Constant Green.

Constant Green will be released via Miasmah on June 18, with vinyl copies limited to 300. Pre-order details are below.

Today, Christensen shares the lead single from Constant Green, It’s Hard Not To Love Everyone – an atmospheric country-tinged ditty that continues to broaden Christensen‘s songwriting range.

You can listen to the song below.

Zelienople interview: “our biggest enemy is cynicism”

Miasmah and Christensen are no strangers to one another, with the Berlin-based label releasing Zelienople‘s 2020 landmark album, Hold Me Up – a release which featured in the top five of our Top 50 Albums of 2020.

While we won’t reveal too much on Constant Green (yes, we have had a cheeky listen and it very much lives up to the billing), for those not so familiar with Christensen‘s body of work, last month Sun 13 published a feature piece encompassing his 2021 releases, so far.

You can read this feature here.
