Earlier this month, Verity Den released their latest single, Washer Dryer, the opening track from their excellent self-titled debut album which dropped earlier this year via Amish Records (read our interview with the band here).
The single included the non-album B-side track, Household Changes, and exclusive to Sun 13, be the first to watch the video for it below.
The footage from Household Changes was shot and edited by the band earlier this summer, with the track written and recorded by founding members, Casey Proctor (Haruspex Palace/ Holy Sons), Trevor Reece and Mike Wallace (both of Drag Sounds) and new touring member Reed Benjamin (Calapase, No One Mind).
Household Changes continues the band’s purple patch, with beautiful warm gusts of sound. Led by Reece on vocals, Household Changes is a blissful dreamscape with the kind of summery, sunroof sway that is brought about by effortless songwriting. Essentially, it’s the embodiment of the Verity Den experience.
Having embarked on two stateside tours already on the back Verity Den, supporting Rosali and post-rock lynchpins Grails, the band has announced more shows in 2024, including appearances at Raleigh’s Hopscotch Fest in September.

I saw them open for Grails last month in Chicago. They were really good.
