Following their 2018 release, Du bist so symmetrisch, earlier this year Swiss duo Klaus Johann Grobe announced their return with, lo tu il loro – set for release on March 22 via Trouble In Mind.
Ahead of the release of lo tu il loro, exclusive to Sun 13 be the first to listen to Klaus Johann Grobe’s latest single, When You Leave, which is officially out tomorrow.
A swooning serenade that sits somewhere between ’70s soft-rock and Roxy Music’s Avalon on the come down, fans of Fortunato Duretti Marinett’s latest album beware – you’re new love awaits.
Klaus Johann Grobe are Sevi Landolt (bass, guitars, keys, vocals) and Daniel Bachmann (drums, vocals), and following a retreat to a remote Swiss valley for two weeks, the sabbatical would spawn lo tu il loro.
Recorded and mixed once again at Dala Studios Winterthur by David Langhard and mastered by Total Control’s Mikey Young (UV Race, Bonnacons of Doom et al), lo tu il loro pulses and undulates with the kind of wonky sonics that are like a backdrop for a first date at the Black Lodge. Warm, tender yet slightly fragile, like that first date, it could leave you laughing or crying…
Lo tu il loro is out on March 22 via Trouble In Mind. Pre-order from Bandcamp.
